“I have so many horrible questions,” I murmured, finishing Kummer's episode. Like, "How are they ever going to sleep again, knowing they have all that creepy stuff under them in the basement?"

😂 Hey, what’s the worst that can happen? It’ll be FINE!

So says the author who started this book with the main characters barely escaping with their lives from a serial killer on their honeymoon! I am not encouraged.

It was character building! 😁 *ba-dum tish* .... I'll show myself out..

Good one! If the opening hadn't worked, it would have been a serial killer . . .

On 4/27/2026, KW told me I would love the opening of Chapter 11 of Inkwell.

I did.

Also, just saying, most of what they carried with them as good prepared adventurers could be used for close quarters combat in the LIKELY event that the unknown room has, oh I don't know, maybe ANOTHER mummy and attacker in it?

Almost as if they meant the line about not doing what those characters in horror movies do!

There is that, now hopefully, it doesn’t feel murdery?!?

Hopefully! Although my characters might disagree!
